The Little Cake Stand is now the proud owner of a bright and shiney award! We are winners of the 'Best Local Cakes' category in the Bristol Good Food Local Producers Awards 2012! We are so happy to have been honoured with this amazing award!
An award winning independent bakery based in Dursley, Gloucestershire, covering the South West and the Cotswolds. Selling at local food markets and online I design, bake and hand decorate cupcakes and edible gifts fresh every day for you to enjoy.
I cater for all special events and parties, from weddings and birthdays to corporate events. I am open to any ideas of cupcake flavour or design so if you cannot find what you are looking for here please do not hesitate to contact me. I enjoy creating new designs and strive to make each and every item I produce perfect for the people it is intended for.
I also sell edible gift products ranging from gift boxes of cupcakes to baking kits in a jar, with much more in between, including vintage cake stands! Whatever your occasion is, you can be sure to find the right gift for almost anyone.
All my cupcakes and celebration cakes are made with the finest ingredients available including local organic flour from Shipton Mill in Tetbury, local free-range eggs from Ganzell Farm (around the corner from me!), pure vanilla extract and fairtrade chocolates and sugars where ever possible. I like to make my own jams, preserves and curds when the ingredients are in season, however if this is not possible I use Kitchen Garden products from Stroud. I believe a great flavour can only be achieved by using the best ingredients around, along with a little TLC! Using local produce is also important to me. You can get hold of fresher and superior ingredients on your doorstep whilst supporting surrounding businesses.
